Having a Bachelor’s Degrees in biology and chemistry from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology, and an MBA from the University of Florida, I have looked at nutraMetrix from both the scientific side and the business side. Before I tell you about the business opportunity, let me tell you about the products that we have. The nutraMetrix tree is divided into three branches of product lines.

The first branch is our unique isotonic delivery system. Most of the supplements that we have are in a powdered format. When you mix them in water, they are isotonic. The patients will receive maximal absorption of the supplements in a minimal time, as opposed to getting them from pills, which the stomach has to spend energy on to digest.

The second branch that we have is two genetic tests that allow us to recommend supplement programs for individuals based on their DNA. These tests are based on looking at single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in genes that have been shown to be supported by nutrition, exercise and lifestyle.

In analyzing these SNPs, a customized supplement program is recommended for you. We refer to this as the laser approach to guided nutrition. This is the ultimate in customized supplementation. And we are the only nutraceutical company that offers this system.

The final branch of the nutraMetrix tree consists of our scientifically proven lifestyle and weight management system called Transitions. It is not a diet, but a lifestyle system that is based on low glycemic index eating. This program is run as a 12 week class that teaches students how to eat better and achieve results for a lifetime.
